Instructor of record across four departments, with independent responsibility for lecture design, delivery, assessment, and grading over nearly five academic years. Designed complete course packages, supervised final-year theses and capstone projects from proposal through defense, and served on departmental committees.

Lecture support, laboratory sessions, recitation and review for undergraduate computer science courses. Held regular office hours, evaluated work with written instructional feedback, and reviewed instructional materials for accessibility barriers.

Graduate Research Assistant — Texas A&M University

January 2022 – August 2026 · SPIES Laboratory

Three principal projects: an LLM-augmented longitudinal study of PGP usability in encrypted email; DECEIVE, an EEG and eye-tracking study of the perceptual limits of deepfake detection; and PHANTOM, a multimodal study of cognitive fatigue as a threat multiplier in phishing detection. Ongoing work on neuro-informed adaptive defenses.

Led research-methods training for early-career researchers and undergraduates, covering literature review, experimental design, and publication practice. Directed the engineering section and mentored junior members.

As CTO from September 2015, owned the technical function — direction for security, biometric, and communication system offerings; client system analysis through to implementation and acceptance; administration of the internal computing environment; and supervision of the engineering team across concurrent deployments. Earlier as senior and junior engineer, implemented communication and security modules and commissioned fire detection and alarm systems.

Five undergraduate theses and senior projects supervised from proposal through defense — Kangdong Yuan (Texas A&M), Muntasir Fahim, Rahat Talha, Md Imrul Hasan, and Md Shamsuddin Mahmud. Two of them are continuing collaborators and co-authors on an ongoing survey of post-quantum cryptography.

Community work: volunteer instruction during pandemic campus closures, and a technology-access initiative that purchased, repaired, and distributed more than twenty-three working computers and laptops to students who lacked the hardware to join online classes.
